A Lyra Poetry Festival Project 2024
A free locative poetry walk for mobile phones and exhibition at Bristol Beacon
The Bonds project invited Bristol poets to react to the
theme of ‘Bonds’ in all contexts relatied to ‘Bristol’ and
our shared heritage. e resulting poems – whose
themes cover the bonds of enslavement , of diasporas,
of immigration, and bonds of love – have been made into
a gps-located poemscape, centred around Pero’s Bridge.
The mobile poemscape is self-guided and available to
the public permanently using Satsymph mobile app software
There was also a related poetry exhibition hosted by
Bristol Beacon Kennedy Room
